Saturday Update

So the situation with my cousins girls, looks like we aren't going to be getting them after all. Their dad went and took them out of school and took them up to Phoenix. Now my cousin says she doesn't know what she is going to do with them. I just hope and pray that everything works out in their best interest. Our door and hearts are always open for them.

I have a cute story I wanted to share that happened with all us girls Thursday night. I was leaving a friends house and there was four horses running up and down her street. My Josy loves horses... We called 911 and waited on the side of the road. They ran back into the desert. Josy was so worried, that and was begging me to let her out of the car so that she could "catch one". We went to some of the neighbors asking them if they knew who the horses belonged to. Than waited for the cop to let him know where they had ran off to. After 45 minutes of asking neighbors, they were found and back in their stables. Us girls felt good, and went home happy knowing that they were safe at home.

Yesterday was a little hectic crazy.... All of girls got our hair cut, cute. Rey got more color in her hair... and boy is it PINK!!! Than Josy and I had to go do a girl scout cookie booth. Can I just say how much I love that lil munchkin. She was all about.. "Excuse Me would you like to buy some girl scout cookies" to every single person that walked in and out of the store. They sold lots of boxes :) Than we decided that we would have a sleep over with one of Josy's friends and one of Rey's. And all six of us girls loaded up and went to Ben's LATE soccer game. But it was all worth being cold, eating pizza off napkins. It was a good night!! :)

Day Six

I love the little things that he does.... the dishes when I am overwhelmed, getting the girls in bed, reading the girls books at bedtime. I love that when he walks in the door he makes sure to give all the girls hugs and kisses, sometimes I am first in line. Mostly Kia cuts in front of me, she is such a daddy's girl. I love you Benjamin.

Day Five

I secretly love Ben's crocked smile. I love when he is being mischievous and he gives me that lil crocked smile. I love when he doesn't even know that he is smiling that smile I love. It makes my heart skip beats.

Day Four

I love that Ben is so competitive.. although at times it can be annoying.. like playing Monopoly. But I love his drive for sports and life. I love that he still plays three sports... almost weekly. I love going to his games and watching him.. Thinking yep that is MY HUBBY!! I mostly love the drive that he gives the girls to do their best!! :)

Day Three

I love that Ben never complains about his day. It seems that when he gets home I tend to have a list of complaints about my day. He will sit there and listen to me quietly. When I ask him about his day he says it was good. I am really trying to learn to be more positive. I am working on it. He is my best teacher at this lesson.

Day Two

I love that Ben calls me through out the day to tell me that he loves me, misses me, and that I am beautiful. Even though at times, I may be a little annoyed at his timing... I am always grateful for his wonderful reminder.

Catching up to day two...

Sorry that Day two is a little late. Yesterday I went on a field trip with Reyna's 6th grade class, we went to the DeGrazia art gallery. I have lived here all my life and have never been on all the grounds. I did go there once, that is where Claire and Aric were married. But I didn't know that he built him and his wife a little house on the land, when I say little I mean little. He than built a chapel, houses for his friends, a bigger house and his gallery. It was all so beautiful!! I had never really sat and admired his work.

Than coming home... Well maybe I should say Ben and I have been trying to take in two of my cousins girls. We had them over Christmas break, and wanted them to stay with us. This didn't work out. I got a call monday late at night from my aunt asking if we still would be willing. Oh how we would love to. They are two of the sweetest most precious souls. We want to be able to love them and give them a stable loving home. So yesterday after school the girls and I started to get things ready. We than got a call that things we headed in the wrong direction and No One really knew what was going to happen. I only hope and pray that they can be safe and happy. We would love if that place for them was our home, but we shall see. The end of the story is.. Sitting here thinking about it... WHOOOO 6 little girls in our home... WHOOSSHHH. But I know in my heart it will work out, I pray that Ben and I can bring the gospel into their little hearts. It will all work out.

So due to this long semi stressed day.. I was not able to do my day two... so I have two to post today.
